Meet Queen Adalah Aza

Queen Adalah Aza is a trailblazer, strategist, and spiritual architect whose life defies limits and redefines leadership. She made history as the first African American woman in U.S. Army field artillery to earn the rank of First Sergeant, and as one of the first women to serve aboard the USS Wasp in U.S. Navy history. From commanding troops to commanding stages, Queen’s journey is marked by courage, conviction, and a deep reliance on the power of God.

Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Queen now resides in Texas with her two daughters, Empress and Queen III. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Military Science with a minor in Psychology, and has completed over 60 graduate-level hours in Divinity, Education, and Counseling. But her greatest credentials come from the school of hard knocks — where she learned resilience, spiritual discernment, and the power of rising after adversity.

Queen’s military career was forged in fire. She overcame a speech impediment to become a commanding voice in high-stakes environments. After surviving a personal assault early in her training, she transformed pain into purpose, becoming one of the first Sexual Assault Response Coordinators (SARCs) at the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy. There, she not only supported survivors but helped shape policies for systemic change — making the military safer for all.

Her leadership didn’t stop at the uniform. As the founder of El Paso’s first full-service vegan restaurants, Queen broke barriers in business and wellness. She later launched a consulting firm to help female founders build pandemic-proof, purpose-driven enterprises. Her mentorship and strategic insight have helped countless women turn their message into movement.

A sought-after transformational speaker, Queen has spoken in over 40 countries across four continents. Her largest live audience? 5,000 global leaders — captivated by her story of resilience and the prophetic power of finding one’s voice. Through her signature platform, Proverbs 31 Powerhouse Academy, Queen equips women to overcome fear, steward their calling, and build wealth with their words. Her mantra, “Never Pass Up the Opportunity to Take the Mic,” has become a rallying cry for Christian women ready to lead with boldness, clarity, and spiritual authority.

This verse shaped my life because it reminded me that my voice is not just mine — it’s God-given, God-commissioned, and God-protected. I used to struggle to speak. I stuttered. I doubted. I stayed silent. But when I realized that heaven had already authorized my voice, everything changed. I stopped waiting for permission and started stewarding the assignment. Whether I’m speaking to soldiers, survivors, or sisters in Christ, I know I’m carrying something sacred. This verse is my reminder: I don’t just speak — I speak on assignment.
